Dr. David Teis

Pastor of Liberty Baptist Church

Dr. David Teis started Liberty Baptist Church on September 11, 1977. Through the ministries of Liberty Baptist Church, hundreds are saved each year and challenged to “Shine As Lights” in the dark city of Las Vegas. Liberty Baptist Church is home to Liberty Baptist Academy, which recently celebrated its tenth year of operations. Dr. Teis has a vision to see twenty Independent Baptist churches planted in the Las Vegas valley and has helped several church plants in the last decade. Liberty Baptist Church supports over 120 missions projects worldwide and gives nearly half a million dollars, yearly, to missions. Dr. Teis and his wife Anna have five children four of them are serving with him in the ministry and one is a student at West Coast Baptist College. He and his wife Anna have been married for 32 years.
