Dr. Tom Sexton and his wife Nancy founded the Gulf Coast Baptist Church in Cape Coral in 1989. Dr Sexton served on the staff of Highland Park Baptist Church in Chattanooga with Dr. Lee Roberson for five and a half years and received his honorary doctorate degree from Crown College in Powell, Tennessee.
