The late Pastor Gordon Conner moved to Vancouver in the summer of 1982 to plant what was then called Bethel Baptist Church. Over the years, the Lord graciously blessed his ministry with much fruit in the heart of this vast, multi-cultural Canadian city. Under his leadership, Greater Vancouver Baptist Church helped to plant five other churches within a ten-mile radius. In 2024, Pastor Conner faithfully completed his earthly ministry and went home to be with his Saviour.
