Remember that your prayer card is going to be in people’s Bibles, on their refrigerators, and every place in between for years to come. Here are some of the mistakes that we, and some of our missionary friends, have made. Learn from our errors!

  • Don’t forget to include your family’s first names.
  • Don’t forget to include your last name.
  • Don’t forget to put the country to which you are going.
  • Don’t forget your mission board contact information (it helps in receiving your support!).
  • Don’t forget to include a working cell phone number.
  • Don’t forget your sending church information.
  • Don’t forget to have it proofread by someone other than you!
  • Many churches appreciate your birthdays and anniversary on the card for their reference.
  • Don’t forget to use a recent picture of your family.
